The assembly ceremony of Shaanxi Auto Algeria assembly line was held at the Mazouz Auto industrial Park in Algeria industrial city Setif at 11 a.m. on May 8th local time. As Chinese brands, the first SHACMAN trucks manufactured at Algeria assembly plant successfully. Shaanxi Auto Holding Group Party Committee Secretary and Chairman Yuan Hongming, Shaanxi Auto Algeria Dealer GM company Chairman Mazouz and neighboring countries distributors, Algerian secondary distributors, Chinese-invested corporate customers, local large customers, and news media attended the event.
First, Yuan Hongming expressed his rapturous welcome and sincere thanks to all of distinguished guests. He pointed out that SHACMAN as the main brand of the Shaanxi Auto, has been successfully sold to more than 100 countries and regions in the world, and more than 130 thousand heavy trucks have been delivered to foreign customers. Since 2007, SHACMAN is the most popular brand of heavy truck in Algeria. it has exported more than40000 vehicles to Algeria, accounting for 80% of the market share.He said that the completion and production of the assembly plant of Shaanxi Auto Algeria is another milestone in cooperation between Shaanxi Auto and GM company and a new starting point for cooperation, the completion and production of the assembly plant will definitely promote the development of Algeria’s automobile industry, cultivate more automotive talents and create more jobs. In the future, Shaanxi Auto will invest more to push bilateral cooperation to a new level.
Mazouz said that GM has established a very close relationship with Shaanxi auto for many years. SHACMAN has a huge amount of vehicle ownership in Algeria, which is the result of the joint efforts of the two sides. And the completion and production of the assembly plant makes the cooperation of GM company and Shaanxi Auto reach a new level. With the gradual improvement of the capacity of the assembly plant, both Shaanxi Auto and GM company will make new breakthroughs in the new round of development.
Subsequently, Yuan Hongming, Mazouz, surrounding countries distributors and the representatives Chinese enterprises cut the ribbon at ceremony together, and jointly witnessed the downline of the first heavy truck for Shaanxi Auto Algeria assembly plant.
